I’ll Think About It

When you’re an adult, and you’re learning something new/different, you don’t expect other adults to make you feel terrible.  But, it happens.  Luckily for me, I had a couple of people defending me when I started to get upset.  They told me to keep trying, and not give up.  And they were strangers!

It’s bad when strangers are more kind than some of the people you personally know.

And because I’m finally seeing a little bit of light, I didn’t lose my shit.  At first I was like ugh.  I’ll just go back to doing a different task instead of this very difficult one.  But when people came to my defense, it made coping with the jerks a hell of a lot easier.

Finally, as the old saying goes, if at first you don’t succeed, try try again.  Or however the original saying goes.  Meanwhile, I’ll think about letting the jerk who was next to me slide.  This time.  I just won’t work with him anymore.  Plain and simple.  I have plenty of other’s who are willing to help me.
